    map the existing market & identify the key growth opportunities

    b) develop a better understanding of evolving market trends and customer needs

    c) develop programs with a systematic approach that will include appropriate product selections, cost in use

    calculations, investment needs and benefits delivered to the customer

    d) create new business development projects

    e) drive the new business creation process and build a strong sales funnel

    f) create new business segments focus on Food Service & Retail

    g) align internal resources (sector, R&D, marketing), within India and outside

    h) build value propositions for each opportunity/ project

    i) conduct trials and gain approvals

    j) convert opportunities to profitable, sustainable sales

    k) replicate successes across customers and sectors

    l) monitor competitive activities

    m) achieve quarterly/annual new business development targets

    The incumbent will have to travel extensively (within India primarily, also to SAARC export countries), often for

    extended periods of time. The position will report to National Sales Manager Food Packaging.
