Due to maternity leave; CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Finance Manager. This position is responsible for managing the day to day finance operations and the strategic financial position for the account. Some responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the Single point of contact for reporting on all real estate accounting issues both for CBRE Facilities Management Team and Client Corporate Real Estate Leads
  • Review and management of operating statements and analysing trends
  • Working with the CBRE Corporate Finance teams on matters relating to the account, which may include; billings, Staff costs and reimbursements and Third Party Vendor Costs
  • Monitoring the profitability of the account
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Managing the overall Purchase-to-Pay Process for the account providing continuous support ensuring purchase orders and vendor invoices are processed in a correct and timely manner
  • Managing cash flows ensuring that billings and payments are made on a timely basis
  • Reviewing client financial reports at the business unit, region, department, and / or consolidated level
  • Review and manage the end of month finance close procedures and reconciliations.
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Demonstrable experience in financial analysis/Accounts Payable work, with a degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications (CPA, CA)
  • A proven capacity to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment
  • A willingness to learn and contribute, and a strong customer service oriented
  • Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent report writing skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Good communication skills, along with the ability to work independently
  • A proficiency in MS Office applications and advanced in using Excel
  • Strong real estate finance & accounting knowledge including finance systems experience
  • A commercial and solutions focused approach
  • JD Edwards and Hyperion application skills will be advantageous.
