Job Description
    Location           : Qatar

    Qualification     : Mechanical Engineer with Chemical/ Process 

    Experience       :  Min 10 to 20 yrs 

    •  Minimum 5- 8 years Experience in Commissioning of Multidisciplinary Projects.
    • Preferred O&G Storage Tanks commissioning Projects experience is a must.

    Project Duration : 1.5 Months from 20th April to 5 May 2017.
    Salary : QR 16000

    Job Responsibilities : 

    1. Manages the process of construction completion turnover to startup, startup turnover to operations, and final turnover to the client.

    2. Manages priorities and activities of startup staff.

    3. Develops and maintains a detailed startup schedule and detailed set of startup packages to track Startup completion and progress.

    4. Manages and maintains open communications and relationship with the client. Responsible to managing and monitoring the Startup budget and man hours.

    5. Develops clear startup procedures as required by contract to coordinate the startup effort.

    6. Plans and prepares for startup activities and major milestones.

    7. Creates and implements controls process for spares, consumables, outstanding work, and material deliveries.

    8. Coordinates the daily activities effecting and involving startup.

    9. Provides supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports.

    10. Adheres to safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities.

    11. Supervises discipline commissioning engineers, operations supervisors, commissioning technicians,LOTO/Turnover coordinators.

    12. Identifying problems and shortcomings with existing systems.

    13. Co-coordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.

    14. Producing or assisting in the production of all tests and commissioning documentation.

    15. Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site requirements.

    16. Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site test dossier.

    17. Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project Programme requirements.
